<p><strong>Note:</strong> After you&#8217;ve restored a user, make sure you reset the user&#8217;s password of the user.</p>
<p>Finally, when you restore, just reset the password with an auto-generated password or you enter a password manually. When you use auto-generate password, the user will receive the new password via email.</p>

<h3 class="x-hidden-focus">Restore a user that has a User Name Conflict</h3>
<p class="x-hidden-focus">A username conflict occurs when you delete a user account in Office 365, create a new user account with the same username (either for the same user or another user with a similar name), and later try to restore the deleted account.</p>
<p class="x-hidden-focus">To fix this, replace the active user account with the one that you are restoring. Or, assign a different username to the account that you are restoring so that there aren’t two accounts with the same username. Here are the steps.</p>
<ol>
<li>Login to Office 365 account as Administrator.</li>
<li>In the Admin centre<span style="text-transform: initial;">, go to </span><b class="ocpUI" style="text-transform: initial;">Users</b><span style="text-transform: initial;"> &gt; </span><b class="ocpUI x-hidden-focus" style="text-transform: initial;">Deleted users</b></li>
<li>On the <b class="ocpUI x-hidden-focus">Deleted users</b> page, choose the names of the users that you want to restore, and then select <b class="ocpUI">Restore</b>.</li>
<li>

</li>
<li>Click <b class="ocpUI x-hidden-focus">Restore</b>.</li>
<li>
<p class="x-hidden-focus">A message pops up that says there was a problem restoring the account. Do one of the following:</p>

<p class="x-hidden-focus">Cancel the restore and rename the currently active user. Then attempt the restore again.</p>
</li>
<li>OR, type a new primary email address for the user and click <b class="ocpUI">Restore</b>.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Review the results, and then select <b class="ocpUI x-hidden-focus">Close.</b></li>
</ol>

He took the exam at the Microsoft Institute in London, the same place where he took the exam for his other Microsoft <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/certification-overview.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">certification</a>.</p>
<p>As per Microsoft, the candidates for this exam are required to be familiar with primary MS <a href="https://www.technig.com/inspect-documents-protect-personal-data/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PowerPoint features</a>, which include the ability to create and manage presentations, insert and format shapes and sliders, create slide content, apply transitions and animations, and manage multiple presentations.</p>
<h3>Youngest MS PowerPoint Specialist Certified</h3>
<p>A breakdown of Humza’s (Youngest MS PowerPoint Specialist) scorecard reveals that he had received 90 percent in creating and managing presentations, 50 percent in inserting and formatting shapes and slides, 67 percent in creating slide content, 100 percent in applying transition and animations, and 100 percent in managing multiple presentations.</p>

<p>According to Humza’s father, Asim Shahzad, the Microsoft Office specialist exams are conducted in a simulated environment, where one is asked to demonstrate their capability by solving a series of problems or tasks as part of an overarching project. He said that earlier academic methods that focused on memorizing answers and filling out check boxes are no longer seen as viable.</p>
<p>Humza managed to learn his way around the software on his own, without the assistance of his father. He feels that Microsoft’s applications have gradually become a part of his everyday life, and he finds himself working on them just as much as he plays video games or watches TV.</p>
<p>While this accomplishment is undoubtedly substantial in its own right, it is another stepping stone for Humza, who aspires to someday launch a Silicon Valley-esque global center for technology in the UK.</p>

<p>The suite of apps can run on any Android phone running on version 4.4 KitKat or later. It will be free, as is always the case, but power users have the option to get access to more advanced features via in-app purchases.</p>
<p>It will need a phone with 1 GB worth storage to work. Android M is not yet supported. The app is virtually the same as its iOS counterpart.</p>

<p>According to Microsoft, the preview version was quite successful with installs on 1900 different phone models in 83 countries. The apps are still not meant to handle the entire workload, rather they are meant to be used for simple editing tasks on Word, Excel and Powerpoint. You can also store your Office stuff on OneDrive or any other cloud storage service such as Dropbox or Google Drive.</p>
<p>Redmond has partnered with 30 companies to make these apps more accessible by pre-loading them in several Android phones from companies such as LG and Samsung.</p>
<p>The app brings a load of good news for people who continue to prefer Microsoft’s suite over Google Docs on Android. While you need an Office 365 subscription to get all the features, basic accounts can view and even get to edit a bit of stuff right on their phones.</p>
