<p>Windows 11 has some additional security features that require specific hardware requirements. Due to the hardware incompatibility of most of the old PCs, users are facing issues installing this operating system on their machines. If your computer is not capable, you must face the below error window while installing Windows 11. There are easy solutions I will cover here to bypass those requirements</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/1-.jpg" alt="How to Bypass Windows 11 Requirements | Incompatibility Error " class="wp-image-16951" width="743" height="557" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/1-.jpg 640w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/1--300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/1--86x64.jpg 86w" sizes="(max-width: 743px) 100vw, 743px" /><figcaption>How to Bypass Windows 11 Requirements | Incompatibility Error </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Out of all the requirements, the three most common ones that stop most users are the following. </p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Minimum 4 GB of RAM</li><li>UEFI Secure Boot capability</li><li>Trusted Platform Modul (TPM) version 2.0 </li></ul>

<p>This article will discuss how to bypass the above requirements using two simple methods. If your computer does not meet one or even all of the above prerequisites, you can still bypass them and install Windows 11 by following one of these two methods. Before bypassing the requirements, ensure that your computer doesn&#8217;t have the above capability. If your computer does have the capability and may not be enabled, try to enable them rather than bypass them. Check the below links to verify and enable secure boot.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><a href="https://www.technig.com/fix-this-pc-must-support-secure-boot/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fix This PC Must Support Secure Boot Correctly</a></li><li><a href="https://www.technig.com/verify-secure-boot-is-enabled/">How To Verify Secure Boot Is Enabled?</a></li></ul>

<p>Please note that you are not using Windows 11 in a standard manner with all its capabilities when you bypass these prerequisites. That is obvious! So, it is good to bypass the requirements only when you use it for testing, not for professional uses. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="Bypass-Windows-11-Requirements">Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor</h2>

<p>The first method is using the<strong> Registry Editor</strong> window.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Prepare your Windows 11 bootable media, whether bootable USB or a Windows 11 CD/DVD.</li></ul>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Boot your PC with the Windows 11 media.</li></ul>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Press the <strong>Shift + F10</strong> keys to open <strong>Command Prompt on the Windows Setup window.</strong> </li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/2-Windows-Setup-Page-1.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | Windows Setup window" class="wp-image-16955" width="680" height="503" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/2-Windows-Setup-Page-1.jpg 621w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/2-Windows-Setup-Page-1-300x222.jpg 300w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/2-Windows-Setup-Page-1-86x64.jpg 86w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | Windows Setup window</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Type the <strong>RegEdit</strong> command and press enter to open <strong>Registry Editor on the Command Prompt</strong>.</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/3-Command-Prompt-Window.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | Command Prompt window |" class="wp-image-16956" width="678" height="274" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/3-Command-Prompt-Window.jpg 747w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/3-Command-Prompt-Window-300x121.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | Command Prompt window |</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>On the Registry Editor, expand the <strong>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE</strong>, then the <strong>SYSTEM</strong> folder, and finally the <strong>Setup</strong>. </li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/7-Bypass-TPMCheck.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-16960" width="705" height="423" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/7-Bypass-TPMCheck.jpg 768w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/7-Bypass-TPMCheck-300x180.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | BypassTPMCheck file</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Please create a new <strong>DWORD (32 bit) Value </strong>file, name it <strong>BypassSecureBootCheck</strong>, and change its <strong>Value date </strong>from 0 to 1. <div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="752" height="389" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/8-AllChecks.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | BypassRAMCheck and BypassSecureBootCheck." class="wp-image-16961" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/8-AllChecks.jpg 752w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/8-AllChecks-300x155.jpg 300w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/8-AllChecks-750x389.jpg 750w" sizes="(max-width: 752px) 100vw, 752px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 Requirements Using Registry Editor | BypassRAMCheck and BypassSecureBootCheck.</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>That is all with the settings. Close the Registry Editor and CMD windows, and continue with the installation. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="Bypass-Windows-11-Requirements">Bypass Windows 11 Requirements With Rufus </h2>

<p>The second method is by using Rufus software. Using this method, you should create a new Windows 11 bootable USB flash using Rufus. So, you should have both Rufus software and the ISO image of Windows 11. Follow the steps below.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Download the latest version of Rufus from <a href="https://rufus.ie/en/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">here</a> if you do not have it. </li><li>Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the Microsoft website <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a>. </li><li>Insert the USB flash to create a Windows 11 bootable media. </li><li>Open the Rufus program and select the right USB flash under the Device section.</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="472" height="515" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/9.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Rufus device detection" class="wp-image-16963" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/9.jpg 472w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/9-275x300.jpg 275w" sizes="(max-width: 472px) 100vw, 472px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Rufus device detection</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Under Boot Selection, choose <strong>Disk or ISO image</strong>. Click on the <strong>Select </strong>button and browse for the Windows 11 ISO image. The Image Options<strong> </strong>section will pop up when you select the ISO file. Select <strong>Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM / no Secure Boot)</strong> from this section. </li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="475" height="562" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/10.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Image Option section" class="wp-image-16964" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/10.jpg 475w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/10-254x300.jpg 254w" sizes="(max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Image Option section</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Choose the right partition scheme according to the partition of your Disk. Let all other options as default and click on the <strong>Start</strong> button at the bottom. Consequently, you will receive a warning message from Rufus saying, &#8220;all your data from the selected USB will be erased&#8221;. If you have important files there, you must copy them before this operation. To continue the operation, click on <strong>OK</strong>.</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="475" height="389" src="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/11.jpg" alt="Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Rufus Warning Message" class="wp-image-16965" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/11.jpg 475w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/11-300x246.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px" /><figcaption>Bypass Windows 11 requirements using Rufus | Rufus Warning Message</figcaption></figure></div>

<p><strong>Note:</strong> You can bypass only the TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot requirements using the second method. If you have less than 4 GB of RAM installed on your computer, you can bypass this requirement using the first method.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p>We walked through two simple methods on how we can install Windows 11 on a computer with no TPM 2.0, secure boot, and a minimum of 4 GB RAM. It is too easy to bypass these requirements and has our Windows 11 installed on unsupported hardware. Once more, I want to mention that these types of uses are not standard. It is good to try these methods for testing Windows 11, but to use it with full capabilities and security features, you must always consider those requirements. </p>

<p>The media creation tool is easy and a recommended option by Microsoft, but the rest are working perfectly.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Make Windows 11 UEFI Bootable USB</h2>

<p>To make a Windows 11 UEFI Bootable USB correctly using the Microsoft media creation tool: </p>

<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Download the Windows media creation tool.</li><li>Run the media creation tool.</li><li>Once it is opened, click Accept the application notices and license terms.</li><li>Select the language and edition you need, or use the recommended options for your PC, then click Next.</li><li>On the Choose which media to use page, select USB flash drive and click Next. <ul><li>Note: The ISO file option will only download Windows 11 with the selected language and edition. </li></ul></li><li>For the Select, a USB flash drive page, select your USB flash drive and click Next to begin downloading Windows and making the USB drive bootable.<ul><li>Note: The files on your USB drive will be deleted. <p>It was easy in Windows 10 to set Chrome default browser but in Windows 11 changing the default apps is a bit tricky. Microsoft just confusing the Windows 11 users or want to make it difficult to use the <a href="https://www.google.com/chrome/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Google chrome</a>. I&#8217;m sure making a separate option for opening deferent file format is a way of forcing users to use the Edge browser. Anyway the Edge browser is supper fast in Windows 11 and I really like it&#8230;</p>

<p>The <strong>HTTP </strong>is (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). HTTP offers set of rules and standards which govern how any information can be transmitted on the WWW (World Wide Web). <p>Microsoft recommended these 3 ways to upgrade to Windows 11 from any Windows 10 PCs. To upgrade to Windows 11 your previous Windows 10 must have at least the minimum hardware requirements of Windows 11. Try to install <a href="https://aka.ms/GetPCHealthCheckApp" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">PC health check</a> to to check and make sure you computer is good to go for upgrade. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Upgrade to Windows 11 using Windows update</h2>

<p>The easiest option is upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using Windows update. We recommend that you wait until you are notified through Windows Update that the upgrade is ready for your PC. But it might takes time to receive the upgrade update from Microsoft.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="533" src="https://technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Free-Upgrade-to-Windows-11-is-ready-1024x533.png" alt="Free Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready" class="wp-image-16710" srcset="https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Free-Upgrade-to-Windows-11-is-ready-1024x533.png 1024w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Free-Upgrade-to-Windows-11-is-ready-300x156.png 300w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Free-Upgrade-to-Windows-11-is-ready-768x399.png 768w, https://www.technig.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Free-Upgrade-to-Windows-11-is-ready.png 1194w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Free Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready</figcaption></figure>

<p>To check Microsoft recommended upgrade to Windows 11.</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Press&nbsp;<strong>Windows key</strong>&nbsp;on your computer and search for <strong>Windows update settings</strong>. </li><li>Type “<strong>Windows update”</strong>&nbsp;and open up Windows Update Settings.</li><li>Click the “<strong>Check for updates</strong>” button to see if any updates are available. If your PC is ready for Windows 11, you’ll see the “<strong>Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready—and it’s free!</strong>” banner.</li><li>If the upgrade to Windows 11 is ready, then click the <strong>Download and install</strong> button and follow up the <a href="https://www.technig.com/free-upgrade-windows-11-from-any-windows-10-pcs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">How to free Upgrade to Windows 11 Securely?</a> article to complete it. </li></ol>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Upgrade to Windows 11 using Windows 11 Installation Assistant</h2>

<p>This is the best option for installing Windows 11 on the computer you’re currently using. Click&nbsp;<a href="https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2171764" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Download Windows 11 Installation Assistant </a>to get started.</p>

<p>I already published a clean step by step guide to upgrade to Windows 11 using Windows 11 Installation Assistant on <a style="font-size: revert;" href="https://www.technig.com/free-upgrade-windows-11-from-any-windows-10-pcs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">How to free Upgrade to Windows 11 Securely?</a> article.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3. Upgrade Windows 11 using Clean Installation</h2>

<p>The third option is for users that want to create a bootable installation media (USB flash drive, DVD) or create a virtual machine (.ISO file) to install Windows 11. This download is a multi-edition ISO which uses your product key to unlock the correct edition.</p>

<p>You can download Windows 10 all editions from <a href="https://technig.com/download-windows-11-iso-file/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Download Windows 11</a> all editions. </p>

<p>For clean installation, you have to: </p>

<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Check your computer complicity with Windows 11 requirements.</li><li>Backup your personal files to an external hard drive. </li><li>Download Windows 11 based on your previous Windows 10 License. </li><li>Create a bootable media. Check this article for <a href="https://www.technig.com/create-bootable-usb-using-diskpart/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">creating a bootable Windows 11 USB</a>. </li><li>Boot your device with Windows 11 bootable USB or DVD. </li><li>Follow the process of Windows installation. </li><li>After completing the Windows 11 installation, restore your backup. </li><li>Done! Enjoy Windows 11. </li></ol>

<p>There are more options for installing Windows 11, such as operating system deployment for enterprise network via <a href="https://technig.com/configure-wds-on-windows-server-2016-windows-deployment/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Windows deployments</a>. </p>
