In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create a presentation folder template in photoshop? This tutorial will help you to create your own business folder template for your clients or online marketplaces for sale. I will explain all the essential details on what size the folder should be, how to set guides properly and create different color samples.

Create Presentation Folder Template in Photoshop

So let’s see what we are going to create in this tutorial. This document folder is a standard size and it is simple, but if you want to create professional one you should use Illustrator.

1. Open a new document (24.8×17.3) inches, 300 ppi and CMYK color mode, there are some other different sizes as well, you can search on google.

2. When you create the document, unlock the Background layer and use the Ruler to bring some guidelines to your document. Enable the Transform Control from Options bar while your Move Tool (V)is selected.

3. After setting up the guidelines, go to Image > Canvas size (Alt+Ctrl+C) to add the Bleeds area. Add 6 mm for Width and Height,  your final size of the document should be 25.05×17.55 inches.

4. Now use the Rectangle Tool to draw a shape (4000×1500 px) then add 750 px Radius for each corner, when you added the radius try to align it as the image below.

5. Now subtract the left area which goes to the center guide. When you subtract it place your image and clip it on the shape (Alt+Ctrl+G) remember your image must be on top of your shape.

6. Add several other rounded shapes on top and bottom part of the main shape with different color, Blue (#16b4e2) and  Light Gray(#dadada) these are the Hex code that I used.

7. So now duplicate and flip the rectangle layer that you clip the image, then move it to the left side, use the Fill to None and add 23 pt Stroke. Make a copy of that shape again and scale it down add Fill color instead of the stroke.

8. Finally, add some text details, you can add contacts info, Brand Identity, About us and some Tile placeholders. When your design final you can make different colors, and organized and grouped the layers.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to design business Roll Up banner in Photoshop? Before starting to do any design, search about the project you want to create on Google. Find and see the other designs and get ideas. When you got the idea, you can start your project. This tutorial will help you how to set up standard setting for your final printing design.

We will be going to design the design below, as you see. When you set up and create your project, then you can change the colours and preview it in the mockup to showcase, for your clients.

1. Let’s create a document 30×70 inches, 300 PPI, and CMYK colour mode, this is the most popular a corporate roll up banner size. There some different sizes too that you can find it on Google. You can provide different colours when have done the main design.

2. Unlock and select the background layer go to View > New Guides From Shape; this will add the guideline to the edge of your document. Photoshop CS6 and bellow version doesn’t have this feature you should add guides with the Rulers.

3. After you added the guides, go to Image > Canvas size (Alt+Ctrl+C), canvas the document 1 inches. These extra areas which we added to the document are called bleeds.

4. Pick the Ellipse tool and draw an ellipse on the top side of the document use this colour code #(16ade4). Press Ctrl+A to select all, then pick Move tool (V) and click on Align Horizontal Center from Options bar.

5. Now place an image (Go to File > Place Embedded/Place) and use Clipping Mask (Alt+Ctrl+G)to clip the image on the ellipse as we drew. You can find Clipping Mask option under Layer menu or right click on layer thumbnail there you will find it too.

6. Duplicate the first ellipse you drew, and place it under all layers, then press Ctrl+T and scale it down a little bit. It should look like frame as below.

6. Draw a Rectangle then use the Ellipse tool to subtract a part of the Rectangle. Before subtraction select Subtract Front Shape option from Option Bar.

7. When you subtract the rectangle, duplicate it, and press Ctrl+T then flip it vertically. Move the duplicated rectangle to the right. Your final design should look like below.

8. Add two rectangles at the bottom; this area is for contacts info you put the Phone number, website and address line. Then add the text pieces of information as I did below, and you are done.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create a Business Bi-Fold brochure in photoshop? We will start off by creating the document, setting up the guides. What will you learn? You will learn the standard size of the brochure, setting up guides correctly and use some other great tips.

Business Bi-fold Brochure Design

We will be going to design the following design brochure as you see in the image below. When you create and organise the file, then you can change the colours as you need.

1. Open a new document. You can open an A4, Letter, or A5 sizes. I use A4 to create this bifold brochure template. Set the orientation to landscape, Resolution 300 PPI and CMYK colour mode.

2. Now click on the lock icon on Background to convert it to layer. Go to View menu click on New Guides From Shape to add four guides to the four sides of the document. Remember your layer should be enabled. Otherwise, this feature may not work.

3. Add bleeds to your brochure layout, go to Image> Canvas size and add 6 mm for both width and height check the Relative options to canvas it correctly. You can use any colour for the 6 mm.

4. Your final document size should be 303×216 mm after canvas sizing. Use the Ruler to add some extra guidelines in order to divide the layer into four parts. You can use shape to divide the document into four equal sizes.

5. Pick the Shape tool and draw a rectangle 35×35 pixels, use this 35×35 shape to add margin guides. Place this shape on each side of the guidelines and add other guides.

6.  Delete all extra layers, and save your document name it Outside. Use the Save As and save it again only change the name to Inside. Open the Outside document to start the design. Pick the Rectangle tool and draw a shape at the half right side of the document.

7. Select the Add Anchor Point tool and add an anchor point at the bottom centre part of the rectangle as you drew. With the Direct selection tool select the anchor point you added and move it down. Remember when you add anchor point it gives handles, convert it to a corner point with Convert Point tool.

8. Duplicate (Ctrl+J) the rectangle, change the colour and move it to bottom of the main rectangle layer. Select the two bottom anchor points of the rectangle (Left and Right) and move it down. Use the Shift+Down Arrow keys.

9. Repeat the step 8 and duplicate rectangle to the orange one in my design. Select both left and right bottom anchor point and move it down. Change the colour. Use this color code (#515e71).

10. Make a copy of the last rectangle, press Crtl+T, right click on and Flip it vertically. Move the rectangle to the bottom part of the page.

11. Bring an image and place it on top of the first rectangle as you drew, and use Clipping mask option to clip it to the top shape layer (Rectangle 1).

12. Add a simple logo and other text info to the left and right side of the page. Duplicate the bottom right rectangle and move it to the side too, it gives a better look.

13. Save the  Inside and open Inside Photoshop document you saved. For the inside just duplicate the main design from outside document. With little changes, move the duplicated shape a little up.

14. Place an image and use Clipping Mask to clip it on the top shape, like step 11. Pick the Rectangle tool and draw a rectangle to the half right side of this document.

15. Now do the same process for the left side, but the design should be at the left corner side of the page. You can use the duplicate of the right page shapes and Flip it vertically and horizontally to fit it on the left page. Place a photo and clip it.

16. Now add the text information on each part that is divided with guidelines. Your text details should not be outside of the safety guide; it means each text should have enough margin.

You can use the following tips for any of your designs, two-page designs or more than two pages. Divide the document with the guidelines to align every object correctly. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to make photo collage using Photoshop? I use some polygon shapes and align them together applying some text effect to achieve the final result that I call it polygon photo collage you can purchase the complete templates here Download Now.

How to Make Photo Collage Using Photoshop?

Let’s see what we will be going to make in this Photoshop tutorial.

1.  Open a new document 1500×1200 pixels size, 300 ppi resolution, RBG color mode name your document (Photo Collage) set the Background color white.

2. Now pick the Gradient Tool (G) set the Gradient Style to Radial mode then click on the Gradient box it will open the gradient editor dabble click on Color Stop slider to open the color picker and use this color code (bcbcbb) for the left Slider and this color (878787) for the right Slider.

3. With your Gradient Tool (G) selected start dragging from the center point of the document to right of left to make a kind of vignette look to the background of the photo collage, you can use any other color for the background as you like.

4. Use the Polygon Shape Tool (U) to start drawing the main frames of the photo collage, don’t forget to set the sides of the Polygon to (6) use any color for the Fill of shape and use White color for the Stroke of the Polygon with (7 pt) size.

5. Now apply the Inner Shadow Layer Style effect to the Polygon shape layer to do so select the polygon shape layer and click on the small icon (fx) a list will pop up use hit on Inner Shadow option to set up the setting.

6. Press (Ctrl+J) to make seven copies of the polygon layer then use the Move Tool (V) to move the polygons and align them with gabs as you see in the image bellow.

7. Now do the same process press (Ctrl+J) to make a copy for each polygon then Right Click on each copy of the polygon layers a large menu will pop upconvert all the copy of the polygons to Smart Object layer as bellow.

8. Now Right Click on each smart object layers and use Clipping Mask Option to clip all the Smart Object layers to the shape bellow you can hold down the Alt key and place your mouse pointer between the Smart Object layer the shape bellow and hit click it will Clip it too.

9. Now simply dabble click on each Smart Object layers it will open new document then go to File>Place Embedded or Place in an older version of Photoshop to place the photos and press (Ctrl+S) to save the photo to the main document.

In this article I am going to show you how to design Easter egg using Photoshop, so when you understand the concept of designing Easter egg you can use it in your other projects like Flyer, Poster etc…

How to Design Easter Egg Using Photoshop?

This is what we will design in this tutorial, all the elements are vector shapes and you can scale it without lose the quality.

1. lets start by setting up the document open a new document with 1000×800 px size , use the following color code for background color(00a2cb).

2. Now pick the Ellipse Tool and draw an elliptical shape to do so click on any area of your document a small dialog box popup put for width: 297 px, Height: 392 px and use this color code for Fill (fbad18) then name it Egg.

3. Pick the Rectangle Tool (U) and draw a rectangle use this color code for Fill of this shape (2a89bb), size of this shape width: 350 px, Height: 147 px.

4. Now I use Layer Mask to remove the extra part of the Rectangle, to do so hold down the Ctrl key and click on Thumbnail layer of Egg it make selection, then your Rectangle layer selected click on the Mask icon at the bottom of layer panel it hide the extra part of the shape.

5. Draw some rectangles with different size and different colors you can use any color you like for different shapes and align perfectly as I did bellow.

How to Design Easter Egg using Photoshop?

6. Now use repeat the step (4) for each rectangles to hide the extra parts, then make a new layer place it on top of all layers name it left shadow use soft rounded Brush (B) and paint with black color at the left side on left shadow layer, do the same thing to the right side as well.

7. Use the Rectangle Tool to make the zigzag lines, draw a rectangle and rotate it  as I did in bellow then make a copy of this layer and press (Ctrl+T) then Right Click and Flip it horizontally.

8. So duplicate these two  rectangles and make a long zigzag lines, then select all these rectangle lines and right click on any thumbnail layers and merge them together. Now use this zigzag line to complete your design and add three stars at the center or the egg.

9. Now apply the Inner Shadow layer style to the Egg layer, you can find the layer style at the bottom side of the layer panel (Fx).

10. Duplicate the Egg layer and put the layer thumbnail under the left shadow layer apply Gaussian Blur and change blending mode to Overlay, it make the egg brighter and natural. Finally use the brush tool and make a soft drop shadow to the egg.

How to Design Professional and Modern Certificate Using  Photoshop?

This is the design that we are going to design; you can also get the ideas from others design from Google once you know the basic rules to Design Professional and Modern Certificate Using  Photoshop.

1. Open a new document (Ctrl+N) A4 size (297×210 mm) or (11.693×8.268 in),  300 dpi resolutions, CMYK color mode with white color background. Remember I am using Photoshop CC 2017.

2. Now bring four guide lines with your rulers for each side of your document as I did in image bellow if you can not see the ruler press (Ctrl+R) it adds to your Photoshop work space.

3. Now go to Image>Canvas Size (Alt+Ctrl+C) to some extra area as bleeds of the document this flows or additional area is called bleeds, check the Relative box and add 5 mm bleeds.

4. Pick the Rectangle Tool and draw a shape as big as your document size as a frame  with no Fill Color and Stroke of 80 pt size with this color code (a2a2a3) name it Frames and locked it.

5. Now draw a triangle  shape at left top side of your document with Pent Tool use this color code for fill color (1a1a1a) as I did in image bellow then make a copy of that shape bring down the opacity to 60% an put it under the main triangle and select the bottom Anchor Point of this shape and move it down till you get the bottom result.

6. Select this two rectangles layers and press Ctrl+J to make copy of the layers and with the copy of these two layers selected press Ctrl+T then Right Click and use

7. Draw a small triangle with Pen Tool and place it at the top center point of the document then make a copy (Ctrl+J) drag it bellow the main triangle bring down the Opacity 60% and use the Direct Selection Tool to move the top right and left anchor point to left and right as bellow.

8. Now add the text details the other stuff like pattern and badge from the folder you downloaded.

In this Photoshop tutorial, we are going to learn how to create a realistic plastic effect with layer style in Photoshop cc we will achieve this great effect by simply using layer style.

Let’s take a look what we will be going to create in this easy and great text effect tutorial.

1. Open a new document 2000×1500 pixels, 300 ppi, RGB color mode, your document must the exact size as I mention, if you create a smaller document you will not get the result as we have in the preview.

2. Pick the Gradient Tool and fill the background layer a nice radial gradient use this color code Foreground color(ed7a1f), Background color (752a00).

3. Now select the Type Tool and add a text. I type PSD with all capital letters, font Arial Black, size 133 pt with a white color remember to give 150 corrector spacing to your text, your text should look like bellow.

Now apply the following Bevel and Emboss setting to your text layer, you can find it in down side of the Layer Panel (fx).

4. Apply the following Contour layer style as I did in image bellow, you can play around the setting and find your own effect as well.

5. Now add the Texture Effect to give it a wavy look, Scale: 158% and Depth: -60%.

6. Add the following Stroke style Size: 29 px, Position: Inside, Blend Mode: Multiply, Opacity: 100%, Fill Type: Gradient,  Style: Shape Burst, Angle: -62, Scale: 150%.

7. Now add two more Stroke Fx to your text by clicking on Plus icon at end of the Stroke box Opacity: 40%  change Position from Inside to Outside, and drag it bellow to the first stroke. Add the Third Stroke and drag it bellow to the Second one.

Create Promotional Photography Flyer Using Photoshop

And this is what I will design, Create Promotional Photography Flyer Using Photoshop.

Setup The Document

1. Let’s start by opening a new document, the size of this flyer is A4, but you are free you can use any other sizes as your need. Press Ctrl+N to open a new document and select A4 size from Print Profile, set the resolution 300 PPI and Color to CMYK. File the document with this color code (e8e3e0)

   

    

2.  Add some guides, and this guide represents the crop mark of your document while printing. You can only insert the guides with Rulers of your document, press Ctrl+R to bring the rulers then place your mouse pointer on the Ruler and hold down the left mouse key then move down or left to add the guide.

   

    

3. Now add 3 mm bleeds to your document by going to the Image>Canvas size change the unit to Millimeter don’t forget to check the tick mark of the Relative option as bellow.

   

   Drawing The Shape Elements

   1. Right! Now lock the guide to do not disturb you while scaling or selecting any objects to do so go to View> Lock Guides (Alt+Ctrl+;) then pick the Rectangle (U) tool and draw a large shape name it (Photo clip) as bellow.

      

       

   2. In this step, I show you how to use the Pen and Direct Selection tool to customize a shape layer as your need to give a promotional look to your design. Pick the Pen (P) tool and delete the right bottom anchor point of the Photo clip layer, remember that your Photo clip layer must be selected.

      

       

   3. Now select the Convert Point Tool, and this tool allows you to add handles to the corner anchor points to convert them from corner to smooth anchor point. To add the handle to any anchor points place you tool to the top right anchor point of the Photo Clip shape and hold down your main mouse button drag to the bottom of the document, hold down the Shift Key while dragging down it move the handle straightly.

      

       

   4. Convert the bottom left anchor point of the Photo clip shape to make it smoother and adjust it with the Direct Selection Tool, and you can also control one handle of the anchor points by holding down the Alt Key while moving any handles of the anchor points.

      

       

   5. Now duplicate the Photo Clip shape and name it white frame then change the color of the shape to white. Move it to the bottom of the Photo Clip as, and select the bottom left anchor point white Direct Selection tool then move the right handle to the right side a little bit to make a kind of beautiful frame as bellow.

      

       

   6. Duplicate one copy from White Frame and drag it bellow to the White Frame shape name it Frames one use this color code for fill of the Frame 1 (5b4b42), then press Crtl+T to transform the layer and then scale it from the right side as you see bellow.

      

       

   7. Make one more copy of the Frame 1 and scale it to, then change it’s color to white name it Frames two your design should look like bellow.

      

      Adding Photos, Texts, and Other Elements

      Now place a photo on top of the Photo Clip shape and fit it with the size of the bellow shape and  right click on photo thumbnail that you placed and use Clipping Mask to clip your photo to the Photo Clip shape.

      

1.   So now pick the Ellipse Tool and draw a small and perfect circle and apply the following layer style to give a frame to your shape these shapes are used for some sample of photographs. Make four copy of that shape and align them correctly.

   

2. After applying and duplication of the layer, your design must look like our design.

   

3. Now place some photos and use Clipping Mask option clip them to each shape make sure your photo should be correctly placed on the shape as you clip.

   

4. We are almost done time to add some Drop Shadow to some of the layers, so apply the following Layer Style to Frame 1 and White Frame, it gives a little bit distance between the layers.

   

    

5. Finally, add the text detail as I did in image bellow, and add all the other elements like footer shape the shapes which are drawn on the top left side of the flyer.

Turn Photo Into  Sketch In Photoshop

The first thing you need is a photo which has been taken in studio with a good detail and white background.

1. Open your photo in Photoshop go to File> Open (Ctrl+O) select your photo and click open, the pixel dimension of the photo  which I am going to use is (2000×1250 px).

2. Now duplicate your photo name it Black & White, and change it to black and white go to Image> Adjustment> Black & White  or use keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+B).

3. Right! Now make a copy of Black & White layer and then go to  Filter> Other> High Pass, Radius (4 px), we do it to sharp our photo, to add more details to it, after applying High Pass change the blending mode of your layer to Linear Light.

4. OK, now copy the main Background layer, not Black & White layer then move it to top of all other layers and go to Filter> Filter Gallery > Artistic > Rough Pastel. Set all the value as bellow, you can play whit values to get better result.

5. Now change the blending mode of your layer to Multiply and see the result it looks like pastel color painting, its great! But to turn it into pencil sketch just add a Black & White Aadjustment.

In this Photoshop tips and tutorial I am going to show you how to design photography flyer using Photoshop? So as you know flyer is a very popular things, for advertising any business, product, events and many other stuff. In this tutorial I will show you the essential and important details you need to include in your flyer.

Design Photography Flyer Using Photoshop

First lets see what we will create in this (Design Photography Flyer Using Photoshop). To design an standard flyer you should know the standard sizes of international paper sizes, which you can find it in Photoshop presets as well, the most common sizes for flyers are A4, A5, US Letter but you can use any sizes.

1. OK go to File> New (Ctrl+N) open new document use A4 size for your flyer you can find A4 size by clicking on preset and choice International Paper from size select A4 black color for background as bellow.

2. Now pick Custom Shape Tool and find the Arrow 2 shape  then draw it, and make a copy of that then reflect it till it looks like letter x.

3. SO select both arrow and merge it together, to merge the layer select two layers and right click on it, a long list pop up and you can find the merge commend at the bottom of the list, after merging the layers specially shapes you should do one more thing, select the merged shapes and open the shape operation from the Option bare and use Merge Shape Components, in order to remove the extra paths then name the merged shapes (Frame)

4. Make 4 copy of that Frame layers, place and align it as bellow then apply an Inner Shadow

Blending Mode (Normal), Angle (120^o), Distance (4 px), Size (4). Copy the layer style and past it on other Frame layers too it gives a great look to your frames you can add a very thin stroke as well if you  like.

5. Select all of frames and duplicate it and put it in a group name it Back Frame move it at the bottom of all other frames and bring down the opacity of your Back Frame to 20 %, scale it up an move it down as bellow try to change the color of the Back Frame to black.

6. Now draw a Rectangle as bellow the try to use black color for the layer, we are going to use it as a place holders for each Frames. To do so rasturize the rectangle then converted to Smart Object layer by right clicking on the selected layer then use Convert to Smart Object comment, and make it as the size of  all the frames or even bigger see the image bellow.

7. Right! now make four copies of place holder and put it on top of each Frames then use the Clipping Mask commend to clip it on the Frame bellow.

8. Well done! dabble click on any or placeholder layers to place a photo, when you dabble click on any smart object layer it will open in a new document then you can place your photo into that document and press (Ctrl+S) to save that it will save in the main document, to give a better look to your frame bring down opacity of some Frames.

9. An finally I add some text details which are very important to be on your flyer, you make three group for you texts (Title) group, (Contacts) group and (Services) group as you see bellow in final result.
