Conclusion

While there are a lot of other mockups out there, most of them are not high quality and well designed. Because iPhone X has just released, therefore there are fewer mockups templates. If you have any design or resource to share with us, feel free to comment below.

In this Photoshop tips and tutorial I am going to show you how to design photography flyer using Photoshop? So as you know flyer is a very popular things, for advertising any business, product, events and many other stuff. In this tutorial I will show you the essential and important details you need to include in your flyer.

Design Photography Flyer Using Photoshop

First lets see what we will create in this (Design Photography Flyer Using Photoshop). To design an standard flyer you should know the standard sizes of international paper sizes, which you can find it in Photoshop presets as well, the most common sizes for flyers are A4, A5, US Letter but you can use any sizes.

Design Photography Flyer Using Photoshop – Technig

1. OK go to File> New (Ctrl+N) open new document use A4 size for your flyer you can find A4 size by clicking on preset and choice International Paper from size select A4 black color for background as bellow.

New Document – Technig

2. Now pick Custom Shape Tool and find the Arrow 2 shape then draw it, and make a copy of that then reflect it till it looks like letter x.

Arrow – Technig

3. SO select both arrow and merge it together, to merge the layer select two layers and right click on it, a long list pop up and you can find the merge commend at the bottom of the list, after merging the layers specially shapes you should do one more thing, select the merged shapes and open the shape operation from the Option bare and use Merge Shape Components, in order to remove the extra paths then name the merged shapes (Frame)

Merge Shape Components – Technig

4. Make 4 copy of that Frame layers, place and align it as bellow then apply an Inner Shadow

Blending Mode (Normal), Angle (120o), Distance (4 px), Size (4). Copy the layer style and past it on other Frame layers too it gives a great look to your frames you can add a very thin stroke as well if you like.

Photo Frame – Technig

5. Select all of frames and duplicate it and put it in a group name it Back Frame move it at the bottom of all other frames and bring down the opacity of your Back Frame to 20 %, scale it up an move it down as bellow try to change the color of the Back Frame to black.

Back Frame 20 % – Technig

6. Now draw a Rectangle as bellow the try to use black color for the layer, we are going to use it as a place holders for each Frames. To do so rasturize the rectangle then converted to Smart Object layer by right clicking on the selected layer then use Convert to Smart Object comment, and make it as the size of all the frames or even bigger see the image bellow.

Place Holer – Technig

7. Right! now make four copies of place holder and put it on top of each Frames then use the Clipping Mask commend to clip it on the Frame bellow.

Placeholders – Technig

8. Well done! dabble click on any or placeholder layers to place a photo, when you dabble click on any smart object layer it will open in a new document then you can place your photo into that document and press (Ctrl+S) to save that it will save in the main document, to give a better look to your frame bring down opacity of some Frames.

After Placing The Photo – Technig

9. An finally I add some text details which are very important to be on your flyer, you make three group for you texts (Title) group, (Contacts) group and (Services) group as you see bellow in final result.

Final Result- Technig

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create perspective photo template using Photoshop. So in this article I we will talk about basic but important things to show all the thing you need to create and organize the group very well till your client easily can use it.

Create Perspective Photo Template Using Photoshop

Remember that when you want to create this kind of designs you should create a high rasulotion, at least it should be 2000×2000 or up. OK lets see what we will create in this article.

Create Perspective Photo Template Using Photoshop – Technig

1. Open a new document (2000x 1800) px, and name it whatever you like I name my document (01 Template) so naming is very important especially when you create template for clients, try give unique name for each the files.

New Document

2. OK now pick the Gradient too and use these color hex code (222222) and (c9c9c9) and set the gradient style to (Radial) and drug it from center of your document to any corner of the document till your document looks like bellow.

New Document – Technig

3. Now pick the Rectangle (U) tool and draw a shape as bellow, and make a copy of that shape then move it to the right and make another copy, move it to the left as bellow. Try to use Guides to align it better.

Create Perspective Photo Template Using Photoshop – Technig

4. Remember that these shapes that I created are just a guide I will remove it latter, when I set the Smart Objects layers on each shape layers. Now draw another shape bigger then the old ones name it (01 Image), give it different color as bellow then rasterize it by right clicking on layer find the rastrize option, and make two copies of that layer and name one of them 02 Image & 03 Image.

Layers

5. Now select 01 Image layer and convert it to Smart Object by right clicking on layer thumbnail then hide other two layers (02 & 03 Image) so move it to the left side and scale it down make it the size of the black shape, do the same thing for layer 02 & 03 do not forget to convert the layer to smart object before re size it, as bellow.

Smart Object Layers – Technig

6. Right! now delete the black shape layers, and select the 01 Image press (Ctrl+ T) then right click on the layer not on layer thumbnail and choice Perspective option then move your mouse over the left corner and click and hold it then move your mouse to the top or bottom.

Create Perspective Photo Template Using Photoshop – Technig

Note: If your looks to long you right click on and use Scale option to re size it.

7. Now do the same process for the 03 Image layer, try to use guides to make the right side as the left one. It is time give to our layers some layer styles and place some photos to do so dabble click on each of 01,02,03 layers it will open in new document, and apply Stroke and Inner Shadow layer style as bellow.

Stroke Effect – Technig

Inner Shadow Effect – Technig

your layer should looks like bellow after applying the following layer styles.

After Applying Effects – Technig

8. OK now make copy of this layer which we applied layer styles and bring down the Fill percentage to 0 and name it Frame, then go to File>Place select a photo and place and fit it in your document then press (Ctrl+S) to save. It will save in the 01 Template document, do the same steps for two other layers, finally your Template should looks like bellow. I add some reflection to it you can do it so.

Create Perspective Photo Template Using Photoshop – Technig

According to designing, shadow has necessary role inside Photoshop depending on your design. In this lesson of Photoshop Tips I have decided to introduce you to shadow usage inside Photoshop, and you will get the answers of What is shadow? How to create shadow inside Photoshop? How many effects are inside Photoshop to give shadows, in order to learn these things, do whatever I do, just copy and paste it.

What is shadow?

A dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.

Ashadow is a space where light from a light source is blocked by an opaque It occupies all of the three-dimensional volume behind an object with light in front of it. The cross section of a shadow is a two-dimensional silhouette, or reverse projection of the object blocking the light.

Shadow Usage Inside Photoshop

In order to create shadow inside Photoshop I will introduce these two methods:

Using Gradient Tool

Using Eraser Tool

Using Gradient Tool:

In order to create shadow with gradient, first type in anything which you desire, or insert any picture. Next Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer which you want to give shadow for it, after that put the copied layer the real layer like screenshot.

Move Down – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

Next Press Ctrl+T to enable to Free Transform or navigate to Edit menu- Free Transform. After enabling Free Transform right click and then select Flip Vertical to rotate the layer -90 degree like screenshot.

Flip Vertical – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

Now it is time to give shadow, in order to create shadow by our own, navigate to layer menu and click on Add Layer Mask to create layer Mask.

Layer Mask – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

Next press G to select Gradient Tool, Remember the color in gradient settings must be black and white. And with Gradient Tool selected draw it on the layer Mask to create shadow like screenshot.

If you can’t do with Gradient Tool, then you have the option of Brush tool also.

The Shadow usage inside Photoshop

2nd Method Eraser Tool:

This method also easy and will be followed those which I told but with some difference.

Type or insert your image, duplicate it by pressing Ctrl+J, rotate it by pressing Ctrl+ T with right clicking and selecting Flip Vertical. After this step you will not create layer mask, just press Shift+E to select Eraser Tool and eraser tool selected Remove the unwanted areas. Remember while working with eraser decrease or increase opacity or flow of eraser tool.

Introduction to shadow usage inside Photoshop

Effects of Shadow inside Photoshop

Whenever the word Effect comes inside Photoshop then you have to know we are taking about layer Effects which is known as Blending options and filter menu.

Go to layer Panel, right click on the layer and then select Blending Options. You can see Drop shadow, inner shadow.

Note: Remember Drop shadow and Inner shadow are not working like Gradient and eraser tool; they only give some simple shadows as effect.

Layer Effects – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

The best thing about these effects are, they have different options, 1st let’s take a look at Drop shadow. The complete window of Drop shadow is divided into two sections of Structure and Quality.

Structure is divided into

Blending Modes: Blend Modes are also divided into Normal, Darken, Lighten, Contrast, inversion, cancelation and Each of them different effects, you can try them into different designs for understanding more.

Opacity: You can decrease or increase opacity of the effect.

Angle: Angle has also important role depending on your own design.

Distance: You have the ability, where to put the shadow.

Spread: You can change spread of shadow.

Size: You can change size of shadow.

Quality section is also divided into two sections of Contour and Noise.

Drop shadow – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

Inner Shadow:

It gives shadow inside the text, image, shape and etc. It is also divided into two sections of structure and Quality which have the same effects of drop shadow.

Inner shadow – Shadow Usage inside Photoshop

I hope you have learned something from Photoshop Tips, and your comments will make my article better.
